| After breakfast, the walking tour will begin with a visit to L’acdemia next is the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with its impressive Dome, see the wonder- Full doors of the Baptistry and Giotto’s Bell Tower, then through the medieval maze of the ancient Florence where the typical tower houses of the time of Dante still survive, you reach the astonishing Piazza della Signoria to finish with Santa Croce Church the Pantheon of Italian glories: Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli, Rossini are the great Italian buried there. |

FLORENCE / POMPEII / SORRENTO |

After breakfast, drive south to ancient city of Pompeii which was totally buried by Vesuvius’ ashes in 79AD. Continue to Sorrento located along the famed Amalfi Coast. |

SORRENTO / CAPRI / SORRENTO |
| Ferry to the island of Capri and visit Anacapri, Gardens of Augustus, and the Piazzetta. In the evening, enjoy a group dinner at a local trattoria. (B,D) |

| After breakfast, enjoy panoramic views while passing the Pyramid of Caio Cestio, the Aurelian walls, the imposing remains of Caracalla's baths, the Aventino hill with a view of Circus Maximus and the ruins of the Imperial Palace on the Palatine Hill, the "Bocca della Verità", the temples of Hercules and Portunus, the Marcello's Theatre, the Campidoglio hill with its monumental staircase and the square masterpiece of Michelangelo. Piazza Venezia, the heart of Rome dominated by the monument of the first king of Italy, Vittorio Emanuele II and the tomb of the unknown soldier from World War I. Driving along the Imperial Forum street we will see Trajan’s Column, Trajan's market and the ruins of the Roman Forum and the Arch of Constantine. Stop for a visit to the Colosseum, one of Rome’s grandest monuments. Continuing along Via Cavour, see the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, the Piazza della Repubblica with Najad's Fountain and the remains of Dioclesiano's Baths, the Via Nazionale and a stop to visit the Trevi Fountain. After lunch break, continue by bus to the Vatican, passing through the elegant Via Veneto, the Villa Borghese, the Tiber River, the Justice Palace, the Castel Sant’Angelo and arrive at St. Peter’s Square with its imposing Colonnade by Gianlorenzo Bernini. Visit St. Peter’s Basilica with its magnificent dome and see Michelangelo’s masterpiece La Pietà. Before returning to your hotel, you will have some free time for shopping in the Vatican area.
