| After breakfast, you will have a city
tour of the Blue Mosque, built in 1609, Topkapi Palace,
with its impressive museum displays, St. Sophia, a
Byzantine Basilica, and the Grand Bazaar, the oldest
covered bazaar in the world. B |

ISTANBUL / ANKARA |
|
After breakfast, you will cross the Bosporus to the
Asian Continent and continue to Ankara. Visit the
Hittite Museum which is housed in a 15th century
covered bazaar and inn. It contains the richest
collection of Hittite artifacts dating to the 2nd
century B.C. B |

ANKARA / CAPPADOCIA |
| After breakfast, you will drive to Cappadocia.
Enroute, you will visit a Caravanserai, many of
which were built throughout the countryside by
Seljuk and Osmanli rulers as inns for weary
travelers and their animals. Picturesque Uchisar

CAPPADOCIA |
Today’s visit takes you to Goreme Valley and the
open-air museum of Zelve, with their impressive rock
churches and frescoes. You will also visit the
labyrinthine tunnels of an underground city. B,D

CAPPADOCIA / ANTALYA |

After breakfast, you will drive to
Antalya on Turkey’s famed "Turquoise Coast." Enroute,
you will stop in Konya, home of the Sufi mystic,
Mevlana Rumi, and visit the Whirling Dervishes

ANTALYA |
You will walk through the vast ruins of ancient
Perge, followed by a visit to the Antalya
Archaeological Museum. B,D

After breakfast, you will visit Pamukkale, with its
fantasy white calcified waterfalls, and the ruins of
Hierapolis, founded in 190 B.C. B,D |

After breakfast, visit the ruins of Aphrodisias
which flourished in the 1st century B.C.
Archaeological excavations are ongoing, uncovering a
wealth of artifacts, testimony to a once thriving
community of 60,000 inhabitants. Continue to the
lively Aegean town of Kusadasi. B,D

Today’s tour takes you to the ruins of Ephesus, one
of the largest archaeological sites in the world.
Founded in the 13th century B.C., it was an
important center of Christianity. A visit to the
Selcuk Museum follows. B,D

KUSADASI / CANAKKALE |
| After
breakfast, drive along the Aegean to the famous
ruins of Pergamum, the site of one of the Seven
Churches of Asia Minor. This is followed by a visit
to legendary Troy where you can view the remaining
ruins and a replica of the wooden horse. B,D |

CANAKKALE / ISTANBUL |

After breakfast, the tour will cross the
Dardanelles, the Hellespont of antiquity, and site
of fierce battles during World War I and continue to
